Hi guys,

Just wanted to say a big thanks.

We got our RMH done by about end of Autumn. Thanks to everyone here for all the tips, books and plans.

Combining what I learned from Paul, Big Al, ernie and erica's plans I kinda just made it up in the end. Did several builds. Using an existing chimney. After about 2 months now of heavy use I think we've had blowback maybe twice but only because I started it with wet stuff. Incredible how much using truly dry wood makes.

Awesome to be able to sit on this big warm thing and just be heating the house with a fraction of the wood compared to last year.

When I get some more time and the room its in is a bit more up to scratch will upload some photos.

Just the other day we had some really old neighbours around who sat on it. Should of seen the look on their faces when they understood that all this heat was being created by sticks.

Cheers,
Rob
