It also fails to display as the top dialog until I click the screen in the general area where it s/b. On hitting "Open" to complete the dialog it flckers and then the screen fails to redraw completely, leaving bits and pieces of the dialog box until I reload the page. The whole page again flickers for 1/4 sec when I reload it and then the FF msg about preventing reloading appears and it all settles down.
_Something_ in the page is looping on button clicks. It could be solely a FF bug, but even so it might at some point cause real problems if you guys have a page that somehow doesn't trigger the "Prevented from...." code in FF and just loops on. From the appearance of the flicker it looks like it's looping at about 50-100 htz. There are many FF installs out there and it wouldn't take but a few of those to provide an auto-induced DOS hit on permies - at 50 Htz.

It looks like my bad. Something in my system may be doing this flickering stuff, as it appears in my file manager as well. Just saw it first on a Permies page.
All that thinking. Doesn't it hurt? What do you think about this tiny ad?
