American or Austrailian Cast Iron Skillet

HI,

I'm about to but my first cast iron Skillet and have found two contenders. An American Skillet & Australian skillet . I'd be very interested to know which of these you think is best

Any advice would be appreciated /.

Depends where you live I would buy local

I don't know about Aussie skillets, but as far as American skillets I would consider buying an old one instead of a new one. The finish on the old skillets was much smoother and higher quality from the factory and not just from years of use.
