Does anyone know the original builder(s) or source of this beautiful rocket kitchen?

Erica, I think I remember reading somewhere, that it was a commercial unit.

there's a "Project Kob Thistle" on pinterest, whih looks rather similar. But I can't stand pinterest! So I don't know more.

That's it, I've found it

Someone once said, "Thou shalt not covet." Guilty as charged. I like it.

L-tube rocket stove.
Flames under the entire cast iron 'hot plate' (+top of oven)
Then down the side of the oven, finally existing out the chimney.
It is simple beautiful.

There is alot of soot under the cast iron 'hot plate'. Any ideas on how to minimize the soot production?

Chris has 3 apples and Monika has 4 apples. With this tiny ad they can finally make a pie!
