Hey guys, I have an article in the works to help promote our PDC over on the Prairie Homestead, but we need a high quality image of a finished underground greenhouse to use in order to get it published.

Does anyone have one they would be willing to sign over rights to us to use for this purpose?

Someone taught me this trick a while ago - when needing an image free of usage rights:

Google whatever it is you are wanting the picture of, then click "images" , then click "search tools" , then click "usage rights" and then it brings down drop menu that has several options. You can then choose any of those, depending on what you want to use it for. If you are going to be changing it or something - obviously you need to choose it for "labled for reuse with modification" - or if you are just posting it on permies AS IS, you can choose "labeled for reuse" or "labeled for reuse for noncommercial" because permies is noncommercial. but if you are putting it in an article, just to be safe, I would go with the one that lets you use them for commercial purposes.

This is a link to that for images of underground greenhouses.

They don't always have the BEST pictures, but a lot of the time they have what ya need.

I actually do this too, but Jill wants something totally original - she won't accept anything we don't have rights to specifically :/ I tried that with a couple of images, and she said no.

Have you tried contacting Elemer Lado or Jay Stegman who more or less recently posted their pictures in the thread on Partly underground greenhouse progress? Or do those greenhouses look not sufficiently underground?

Haha don't even worry about it, it's kind of a conundrum.

Seva, thank you so much for that information - I knew I had seen a thread like that recently but just couldn't find it.

Then I got to thinking I must have been imagining things. You're awesome! I'll be getting in touch with them, I think those are lovely and should work fine to illustrate the point (plus, beautiful stonework!)
