Saturday morning my Perone hive swarmed. I've never seen it before and it was amazing. There was a column of bees swirling like a tornado 15 to 20 feet across and 40 feet or more high. I wish they would have moved into my vacant Warre hive, but I'm still very grateful to have seen it.

I started it in Spring of 2015, so this was the first winter it's been through. It really was wonderful. I've never seen them swarm before.
