Box with old comb question

If you read my other post, you know I just caught a swarm and installed it in my Warre hive. The last group in that hive didn't survive the winter. They had a full box of honey that I didn't harvest and I let the bees from my Perone hive eat it. So I still have one box that is full of cleaned out comb. Will it help the bees if I give them that box of comb to use, or should I tear the old comb out and use the box as an empty?

Leave the comb They'll be able to use their energy to make honey instead! Is the comb in good condition though? When we've seen hives leave they often leave larger misformed comb.

It looks perfect. No cross combing or anything. The entire box is full of comb, no smaller combs on the edges.

Sounds good to me then Go for it.
