How to change login name?

Hello,

This is my first post, and I'm crossing all of my fingers and toes that my first and last name, not login name, are what are going to show up here.

Through a series of preposterous events - most of which involves my thinking I'm funny and my husband's typical subterfuge - I have a stupendously terrible login name. Like, drunken frat boy level terrible. I like to think I'm not terrible at interneting, but apparently I am.

Anyway, is it possible to change my login name? I've spent the last twenty minutes in a shame spiral, trying to figure out how to change my login myself, or just delete my account entirely and start over (all the while being pointed and laughed at by my loving other half), and if I'm correct this is the route I'm meant to take.

You can change your display na me, (Jay Emm),but I don't think that you can change your login name.

It won't really make much difference to you, but if you PM me with what you'd like it to be, I can probably change it. Never done it before though, so not absolutely sure.

Did give me a giggle though. We've had 'real names' like that here - it's why we insist on the real-sounding name policy!

Thanks for your replies! If it's going to be a pain to change, and if it's not going to be noticeable anyway, and if it's not offending anyone, I'm fine to leave it be. It'll serve as a reminder for me to double-check everything before I submit it.
