Thinking about escaping the cold this winter?

Do you have permaculture experience and want a new adventure in one of the most beautiful places in the world?

We are looking for some long-term volunteers to play an integral part in the expansion of our permaculture farm in the South of Chile.

Our farm is situated on the banks of the beautiful Lago Rupanco and is overlooked by not one but two breath-taking volcanoes. We require a number of experts to head up certain aspects of our ongoing projects here. We are looking for applicants to stay for a minimum of 6 months and ideally for around a year or more. We need permies with extensive knowledge of Forest Gardens, Organic Gardening, Beekeeping, Carpentry, Administration Operations, Vegetarian Culinary Cooking, Digital Content Management, Nursery Management, Bookkeeping and Housekeeping. If you fulfil any of these criteria, you’re hired. All long-term volunteer positions have the potential to become fully paid or incentive based positions. During the summer months we normally host around 60 volunteers at any given time that can be divided into teams and we need long-term volunteers to manage these teams. Our goal is to have 80% of our vegetable requirements produced onsite by 2017 and our ultimate mission is to be a working model for the world to demonstrate the huge benefits of permaculture and sustainable living. If you want to be part of something special, please get in touch.

You can reach us at lagorupancovolunteers@gmail.com
