Zack Rogala, a philosophy masters student, has been putting on a weekly lecture series about localized issues in Hamilton. If anyone happens to be in Hamilton, I will be presenting and facilitating a talk today:
In the past lectures have included: wolves, ranching, transportation, fishing, tourism, zoning, and today is education: I will be advocating for ecological design, an educational frame for re-skilling inside and outside of the classroom.

This weeks’ discussion will be ‘Education Reform: 4 day school weeks and year round education?'

This weeks’ lecturer will be Mr. Derek Kanwischer, UM PhD Candidate.

This weeks’ discussion will be Monday the 15th, from 5-6 at Liaisons Coffee Shop across from the Roxy Twin Theater.

Great job for organizing this Derrik, I so want to come, I have a raw food retreat though in Deep Bay I am expected at for the healing community.  (every last weekend of the month (usually) You are all invited to join us in Jan, or any month.  It is a great and relaxing retreat- highly needed from the stressors of life.  The raw foods are invigorating, yummy and really fun.  Massage there too, we all learn to give and receive.  We are supporting each other in exercise: snowshoeing, yoga, hiking,  etc.  314-3808 to reserve your $20/night room.  Houses have all glass fronts and timber framed, very nice for the couple.  We want to start some permaculture there.  We'll get together soon, Namaste, Kelly
