There is a photo that I pinned on Pinterest of a cobshower with a glass roof. It is absolutely gorgeous, and I can only imagine how wonderful it must be in the summer months... But what about in the winter? Would something like this be unbearably cold when it is cold and rainy outside?
I think it would depend on the insulating value of the glass used I suspect that like a green house, you'd be just as likely to have a problem with overheating in the summer. Remember that at the same time the sun is providing light, it is also creating heat.
