Earth day celebrations include planting trees, answering surveys, gardening, canning, attending rallies or events and in general observing the importance earth has in the continuation of the human species. We get so self-absorbed it is sometimes hard to remember that without bees, moss, protozoa, salt water, snakes and grubs and a host of other nearly invisible contributors we would never get up in the morning. So take a day and appreciate the earth for letting you walk around to appreciate it.
