I have a male Chihuahua that's my baby. He bites and scratches all the time. I feel so bad for him. I bathe him in T- gel and treated him for fleas with otc Petarmor plus drops. He has no fleas. Thought abt an oatmeal bath. Would like a home remedy. Please help my sweet boy. Desperate in Texas.  Thanks in advance (tia)

Hi Tammie, he might get some relief if you change his food to grain free, or even all-meat (including organ meats).  We saw a big improvement in our terrier's health and well being when we switched.  Good luck!

Does he go outside into the dirt?  There's something in the dirt here, maybe chiggers, or a fungus, that my old cat was allergic to, and when she was an outside cat she was completely broken out, especially her feet, with itchy bumps.  Once we started keeping her in the house, her skin cleared up, but she would sometimes get into dirt tracked in on shoes, and break out again, but not as bad.
