Hi, all!

Just bought a little over 22 acres a bit SE of Salem Missouri, near the Twain National Forest, and my wonderful gf and I are getting ready to move down there in the next two years to begin our homestead. We plan on focusing on permaculture and off grid living, and this seemed like the perfect forum to help us toward that goal.
We've both been researching everything we can in preparation for the transition, so I've been lurking here and just soaking up the wealth of information about anything and everything. Seems like an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable place.

Basically wanted to finally say hello, and maybe find out how many other active users may be in our general region. So, hello!

Nice to meet you Ben.  Welcome.

Congrats on your new place!  I know how exciting that is (I hopefully sign papers on mine tomorrow.)  That is wonderful territory you are homesteading.  Do keep us posted on your progress.

That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I think a piece of pie wouldn't kill me. Tiny ad:
