I am having trouble with publishing my images in this thread.  They were showing up before but now they are not.  The editing button does not show up anymore.

I found the source of my problem.

Since the images are stored elsewhere I see that that server is down.

So we are good then?

You do have the option of attaching up to three pictures to a post if you would like to do that in the future. It puts the pictures on the permies.com server then and will never be "broken" due to external communication issues.

I was not aware that the "Attachments" tab was to upload images to the server.  I thought it was only for pdf etc.

Yes, the "Attachments" can be used to post images, but it places the images at the end of the post.  You cannot place them where you want, as you can with the "Img" button.
