Online Pond Building Course - Kickstarter

An interactive, online course on pond building. Learn how to design, permit, build and pay for your dream pond.



In this completely online course, creators Raleigh and Grant will be showing you how to build a pond from start to finish, beginning at the data gathering stages with surveying and design, and then jumping right into the build itself. You'll learn how to build everything from a shallow wading pool to a massive 2 acre pond! The largest will include a micro hydro generator, RAM pump, and livestock waterer.

This looks like a course for flatlanders as I'm not seeing much slopage in the pics. When you say "exhaustive" in the daily-ish, does that include us more vertically-oriented mountain folk?  Is there a syllabus for the course or something?

Edit- syllabus is under "read more" at bottom of kickstarter page- there is some mention of topography, but I'm curious about serious topography.

That's one thing I'm not sure about either MRJ - I emailed the guys about that one with a link to this thread, hopefully they'll jump in here soon and get you an answer.

We'll be working with slopes all the way up to 30% or so, plenty hilly but not quite sheer granite faces of a mountain.  I think you'll get all the info you're looking for.
