I have been stuck on 'relative time' ("Last post x minutes ago" vs Last post at 12:30)
I have had this happen before, but if I went into my profile and just hit the "Submit" button, it would go back to normal.  However, today when I do that, I just get an error message:

FYI, since the problem, I shut down my PC, waited +/- 15 minutes, then powered back on.
(In case a token/cookie had expired)

Still does the same.
I tried general preferences, and even tried adding a bumper sticker.

Same error message each time.

Well, I came back online this evening, and it is back to normal.

I can't keep it on real time.
It keeps going back to relative time.
