I didn't coin this phrase but I like it. It typlifies our present day Pavlovian Society .. what we as Permies have shunned .. the media rings the bell .. the masses run to their destruction.
If you have the cure .. you are shunned ..
Medicine is owned by corporations and universities and dispensed in corporate hospitals .. Agriculture is owned by the corporations and sold in the corporate store .. our schools and textbooks are owned by corporate entities .. and our government/corporate/military/pharmaceudical complex is operating face recognition cameras at all major intersections
So, if you reject all of this .. and your house does not have a game room the size of a football field dedicated to televisions, state of the art exercise equipment and computers ..
If you have fled from municipal water systems full of lead, chloride, nitrates and nitrides ..
If you home school you children and make your own clothes .. take herbs such as Yarrow and Echinacea and cure everything from cancer to swine flu .. cure whack-o blood work and heart attacks with Capsicum .. if you collect seeds with the original God given attributes and "are off the grid" ..
Then, .. just who is nuts ..
If you get too far from the stone age .. things go haywire.
Agreed...Most of it is ignorance and non motivation I think.

Maybe it's the attitudes that we were raised with or learned from life's lessions. I have friends that will only use prescription medicines, chemical fertilizers, etc, because they think if it comes from a company and they pay a lot for it, it must be the best.
Me? I have the DIY attitude towards pretty much everything. In the spirit of 'let's try this and see if it works', I'm using baking soda on a little skin cancer lesion. By cracky, it's working!!
90% of what I do today I have learned from the internet and shared information.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
