Neat ! Salida is a nice little town.

here is their website.

Sounds like the plan is for it to be a rental community for workforce housing. The river location is nice but it is between the sewage treatment plant and a feedlot/sale barn so might get a bit stinky.

Here is the annexation documents for anyone who is interested.

Part of their pitch is to open a possible tiny home manufacturing facility.

That's awesome, the rental scene is bleak in Salida, especially with all their seasonal adventure workers. Even so, at those rent prices, with minimum wage jobs, workers will still be scraping by. Should be quite the party there. That's a big deal for Salida to approve that in their rediculous real estate and government.
Thanks miles for that pdf link.
