S510 Bill Passed... Bad news for us

Sadly its on its way to making our lives much more difficult..

That's been discussed here before, and the particular source you pointed to is loaded with disinformation and hysteria.

The internet has made it a whole lot easier to get information. Unfortunately it has done nothing to weed out the bad information.

I know the Senate passed it on 11-30-10. Did the House vote today?

this bill has a revenue portion in it which, according to the constitution, requires the bill to originate in the house of representatives.  so, unless the house passes the senate bill, before the senate can again pass their bill, this legislation is dead.

given the importance of the tax debate, don't ask don't tell, and the START 2 treaty, i can't imagine that this bill will see any more action before the end of this congress.

Does anyone have an accurate source of information for this bill? I could read the entire bill I guess, but Im hoping someone with integrity can bullet point it as to how it affects us.
