Wow, that is a big grizzly bear.  

Makes me ponder, you've got to have intelligent dogs if you live in a place with apex predators like that!  (I kinda wonder what my dog would do - she's a Beauceron, and pretty smart. . . )

More lucky than anything. Dog was inside. This was the biggest Sow grizzly I have ever seen. Cub went above the house and sow went below. This pic was actually taken by my neighbor but she was just as close at my house. I kind of froze on taking a photo. Look at here claws!
