http://www.youtube.com/paulwheaton12#p/u/0/Q47SiCupPqg Michael "Skeeter" Pilarski shows me his storage shed for his herbs. He has a successful business of selling herbs, both fresh and dried. Skeeter is a well known
permaculture instructure and wildcrafter.
He mentions that about 3/4 of his dried herbs are organic farmed (vs. wildcrafted (wild harvested)) and 1/2 of his fresh herbs are organic farmed.
It sure smells good in there!
Skeeter talks a little about his herb cleaning system.
Skeeter also has tinctures.
The shed is dry and rodent proof with a good, even temperature.
There is
enough in the shed for hundreds of thousands of cups of tea, and hundreds of thousands of bottles of tincture.
Well known clients of skeeter's: "The Herbalist" and "The Herbalist and Alchemist" - most of Skeeter's stuff ends up with naturopaths.
