I am in the lower Michigan area, and belong to a beagle club.  We are looking to purchase wild cottontails, for our enclosure.  Willing to travel out of state if the price is right.  We are trying to establish a new community of cottontails, since ours were eliminated over the past few years from coyotes, and mink.  We have our enclosure in shape again, and are looking for healthy wild cottontails to bring in.  Can anyone give me any suggestions where to buy cottontails.  Not looking for San Juan's or any other type, other than cottontails. Thank you

Cottontail rabbits are game animals in MI. You better check with your Fish and Game Dept. before transplanting any, especially from out of state. If you go through the process legally, the Fish and Game may help you locate and live trap some from an area where they are plentiful.
