Does anybody know how one would go about learning herbal medicine for companion animals?  The information is kind of hard to come by.  Books/resources?  Programs?  Teachers?  Any suggestions, even small leads, would be appreciated.  Thanks!

A little over 20 years ago I wondered the same thing and found a book by a natural vet and herbalist, Juliette de Barairacli Levy - The Complete Herbal Handbook For Farm and Stable. I have used this book many times to cure things for our animals and neighbors. One friend had his puppies come down with parvo and we took care of it. We lived out in the boonies of Texas and had dos show up with mange, which we cured by the recipe and then after they were healthy, adopted them out. My daughter adopted a kitten that had mange and it was cured. Its a great book. The link below is the farm, which has dogs and cats in it. But she also has a book just for dogs and cats.

We kept yelling "heart attack" and he kept shaking his head. Charades was the tiny ad's idea.
