I agree that she knows a lot about herbs, but I don't agree with of her statements re: circumcision and birth control. From what I can tell, her opinion on circumcision is based on a biased study done in the 1950's and a lack of knowledge in regards to the benefits, esp to older women, of the foreskin. Her birth control opinion is actually intellectually intriguing to me and it's not so much that I disagree with her ideas on the subject, I just find that her recommendations are incomplete in the same way that doctors who prescribe antibiotics without mention of pro/pre-biotics is in complete. For the average woman there are some side effects of birth control that can be mitigated when considered, but ignored, they can become problems. I wonder if what she likes about birth control can be attained in a non-pharma way and unless we acknowledge the problems with birth control, we wont be looking for the natural,
sustainable alternative.
