I don't know how this is going to register with folks, but...

Would you part with COIN to have a video made specifically for you and your (one) interest at Wheaton Labs or Wheaton Base Camp?

I know that the ANTs and GAPPERs are in need of income to pay rent, bills, food, and tool advancement.

I know that they will welcome new COIN while creating the ANT VILLAGE economy, and maybe an opportunity to work for people other than Paul would do them good.?

THE RULES OF THIS FORUM:

1) Fulfill payment or be shamed. (send a purple moosage if necessary to gain sensitive information on how to complete a payment. I suggest PayPal or regular mail to Wheaton Base Camp. Bartering sounds great!)
2) Be specific in your request.
3) Follow up with a 10-scale rating, 5 being average. (return to edit your original post with "COMPLETE" and rating value; post a screenshot/image of your payment if necessary)
4) Fulfill bounties with embedded videos. (to fulfill a bounty, persons must quote the original bounty posting that they are attempting to complete)
5) Refuse to award bounty by quoting embedded video and stating "REFUSED" and providing a 10-scale rating, 5 being average. An explanation is not necessary, as opinions would get messy. Please also post remaining information of bounty as this bounty will be considered to still be active.

THE POSTING FORMAT:
1) Bounty value
2) Specific request to witness in video.
3) Preferences.

EXAMPLE OF PROPER VIDEO BOUNTY POSTING:
$15
Steve's Cob Oven - I want to have the air flow explained to me.
Measurements, during daylight, actual item, while being fired, not Steve's voice, 30 seconds minimum

EXAMPLE OF PROPER VIDEO BOUNTY POSTING:
100 Apricot Seeds
Show me the techniques used to deter wildlife foraging upon apricot sprouts/trees at Wheaton Labs.
During daylight, types of wildlife, yearly maintenance, brainstorm my climate, how would you do it differently, 60 seconds minimum

EXAMPLE OF PROPER VIDEO BOUNTY POSTING AFTER COMPLETE:
COMPLETE - 6
$50
Sean's House - Show me his current kitchen.
Stoves, cabinets, lights, batteries, wash area, doors, window, chairs, overall measurement, ceilings, 180 seconds minimum

EXAMPLE OF PROPER VIDEO REFUSAL:
REFUSED - 2
$10
Show me the west gate of Wheaton Labs
Sunset, fence attachments, locks, trees, elevation, road condition, 20 seconds minimum

$40 + 10 pie
Updated interview with Evan - Update this and this interview with Evan, showing general look of Ava and current state of Siesta.
Using Davin's recent visit as an outline, show arrival from Pascal road, where they sat in the shade, and the view from there.  Talk thru inside features briefly.  Must be able to hear Evan clearly (Davin's linked video is good enough).  60 seconds minimum.  (Clarification: Evan is required, but Davin is not; could be done by anyone.)

Me neither.  Let's try something else.

$5-10
Show-n-tell 5 (or more) edibles being grown or raised by Ant Village residents.
Show 5 edibles being produced, as diverse as possible, not necessarily harvested yet.  E.g. a mustard leaf growing in someone's garden, a duck egg, the secret llama, ...  Must be growing it with intention to actually eat it.  Please say what each thing is.
Any format acceptable.  E.g. 5 stills with captions, a photo collage with text underneath, a 30 second video or video slideshow with narration, whatever.  Keep it simple.   5 examples gets $5, up to 10 examples gets $10.

Here's an example I did in my suburban yard.

Learning:  After I posted this request, I realized that I've never actually made and posted a video like this myself, so how am I here telling people what to do and even setting a price?  So I decided to try it.  I started a thread for new videographers "The Made-in-15-minutes Video Challenge" to get some community support as we get started.  Any business you start needs videos made these days, so I think this is a valuable skill to work on.

Devin--I invite you to post over there (as an invited expert!)

Always look on the bright side of life. At least this ad is really tiny:
