In another thread someone mentioned liking old books.  Here is some beauty advice for women from Professor D. L. Webster in his 1889 book "Webster's Encyclopedia of Useful Information".  Provided here for entertainment value only  .

There is farming advice sprinkled throughout the book, I'll have to scan some of those pages someday.

Ha!  Very cool beauty advise    I too love the old writings - the way they put things is fun to read.
