......and a Permie on every corner.  Or at least one in every town.

Couldn't help but think, when listening to this rather now common story on the evening commute, that each such town could use one Permie establishment producing some set of food items for self-use and for sale.  If nothing else, even bucking the local ingrained traditions, it would be an example of producing....and living....in a vastly different way.
