Im interested in buying a plot of land somewhere in deschutes co oregon, and starting a small community. I know most areas have zoning laws regarding how many dwellings are allowed on a plot. Does anyone know how strict they are in that general area?

Hey, I will be in Ashland trying to recruit people for coming down South and doing the very same thing because it is easier to grow here because of the sun, though I do love Oregon. But all my old friends are in Ashland and those are the only people I know that would possibly be interested. I want to do aquaponics and have a food forest, kind of tough in Oregon. I don't have the land yet but I am in Southern Cali now and there is a 2.5 acre lot in Landers that is $75 a month to own, payments for 12 years.

I haven't done the deal yet but was thinking of doing it today and going up to Oregon to try and get some people involved. I was going to put all the supplies I have here in storage in Yucca Valley where I rent a house. If you are interested in meeting in Oregon, I could go into further detail or you can email me: matrixministries@yandex.com

What you are suggesting interests me too though. Let me know if you do get land. Thanks, Simon
