Hey Permies community! So I am super green here - I am seeking an education in Permaculture. Permies.com seems to have everything but I am seriously overwhelmed here. If anyone could point me on a path to getting started in learning with the forum, videos, books, workshops (I live in Las Vegas) anything to get me in motion and get me into the community here I would be eternally grateful!
I feel limited living in the desert (both geographically and spiritually) to this new undertaking but I'm sure with some advice I can get moving and become useful in the community. So to all you experienced Permies, please point this newbie in a direction!!
Thank you to all in advance, this is a beautiful place!!

Start by putting your location in your profile.  I know you put it in your post, but later when you ask questions, it will be there and people will better be able to help you.  The next thing I would do if I were you is start reading the posts in the "greening the desert" forum, and get very familiar with the search function.  Most everything you need to know about anything is here, but it will take time to get thru it and digest it.  Welcome.
Quick! Before anybody notices! Cover it up with this tiny ad:
