We have a momma cat and her kittens that we are hoping to place in good homes within the community without having to overtax the already overburdened shelters in our area. We are in South Central PA roughly Harrisburg Area, if anyone is local and interested please contact me! First we have momma cat (aka Tesla, aka Doodle). She is a young and energetic (approx. 2 years old), female tori, with possible Siamese lineage due to her vocals and sleek body. She is a naturally slim kitty, who is beautifully marked with caramel colors mixed with black. She is super affectionate, very playful and strong willed. She is highly intelligent and trainable for someone that has the time and inclination. She loves the great outdoors and is an experienced hunter, so outdoor time, if allowed, should be monitored. She is very attached to people and craves human interaction. This is not one that you want to leave in a closed off environment, she wants to be around people and wherever the action is. She is a very expressive cat and has a wide range of vocals and will let you know exactly what she is feeling, but she is not aggressive towards people. She would do best in a home of her own, without any other cats. She tolerates them fine, but she is an alpha and will try to rule the house, with dogs, again, she rules. If you have a dog that doesn’t pay attention to cats or want to interact, she would be fine, however, if your dog thinks that cats are for snuggling, she will probably try to show her dominance over them. She is litter trained, and very comfortable in a house, but is a brilliant escape artist. While she was a great momma, this kitty’s babies are weaned, and she is ready for a forever home.
Baby kitty 1 (aka Bugger) This kitty will most likely be was is called a “torbie” and has the markings of both a grey tiger and and the orange markings of a tori. This baby was the last born, and the runt of the litter (but is catching up fast), it has a strong purr (they all do) and is playful and sweet. This one is a little more timid than some of the rest of the litter, but is still playful and affectionate. This baby is into more quiet than some of its more active siblings, and would do well a a calm home. This kitty was the first to strike out and try solid food, and is a pioneer in its own right. Baby kitty 1, while still playful with its siblings, would do great in a single cat household, but would probably be fine with an accepting older cat. Litter trained and weaned, this kitty loves hiding, pouncing, some snuggles, quiet, and sleep.
Baby kitty 2 (aka Miso) This kitty will most likely be a dilute tori, the tiger striping is fading, and is being replaced with light grays, and soft “diluted” caramels. This baby is very active and playful, and loves to practice pouncing and leaping. This litter-trained and weaned kitty is very cuddly and gentle, and really loves to explore. While all the siblings are close, Miso would do well as a pair with Dekku, right now they are pretty close buddies. This baby is pretty bold and loves to investigate new things but is still fine with being on its own. Super sweet, this one truly is a lover.
Baby kitty 3 (aka Maya) will most likely be a true tori, its colors and stripes are fading and this kitty might resemble it’s mother the most. This kitty is bold, and fearless, the leader of the pack. This kitty is really into everything one might expect, climbing, pouncing, “play” attacking, and really anything relating to “kitten chaos”! This kitty is a high energy baby, that will need plenty of fun it its life. This baby is well paired with Bugger (kitty 1) if someone is interested in a pair. This baby as with all others is litter trained and weaned, and is a loving, playful and friendly kitty.
Baby kitty 4 (aka Dekku) This baby is bold and fearless, but might be the most into snuggling of the bunch. Loves pouncing, “stalking,” and playing. This lovable kitty will most likely be a larger cat than some of it’s litter mates, due to paw size. This kitty has definite gray tiger markings, and is beautiful in its own right. Litter-trained, weaned and ready for a new adventure, this baby would be great in it’s own home or paired with it’s sibling Miso.
Baby kitty 5 (aka Pepper) Of all the babies, this baby is a more vocal kitty. This baby is calm and petite, and loves to find a great place to hide in to catch a good nap. This baby will be on the smaller side like its mother, and would do better in a calm, quiet home. Litter trained and weaned, this baby is affectionate, but not overly needy. This baby still enjoys play and pouncing, but doesn’t seek it out every moment of the day. This baby enjoys vocalizing and “talking” to people, but also enjoys quiet time all by itself.
