I bought this sweet little wheel 2 weeks ago from someone who helps unwanted wheels find loving homes. She said the previous owner thinks it's at least from 1987 when a random woman recognized the hand-painted roses to be those of her mother in Albuquerque - who knows if that's accurate.
No makers mark and I don't know where to look for info on ID'ing wheels - I did email the Spinning Wheel Sleuth but haven't heard back yet.
Things I'm looking for:
1 - wheel ID (for my own knowledge and to have more bobbins made)
2 - help troubleshooting her issues.
I'll upload pics to help with ID. Issues are:
- Mother of All wobbles. I looked at her underside and did see 2 screws that I tightened but that did nothing.
- I feel like the set up of the flyer/bobbin isn't quite right and therefore I'm not getting the best yarn I can get. This is my first double drive and, partly since I don't know the maker, I don't know if there are missing parts, such as bushings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Holly

does the whole thing wobble or just the wheel?
