Hi there!

I am in the process of permaculturing my garden, and I have a lot of garden trimmings / leaves / branches I'd like to process quickly into mulch for a modified version of sheet mulching that I am doing on my lawn.

I'm trying to purchase a good electric chipper / shredder, but it is very hard to decide and I don't want to buy a crappy one that will break as I have a feeling I'll be using it a lot.

I'd love to get a recommendation for one, or if someone in the Portland area has one I can borrow in the meanwhile, I'd be forever grateful And would be happy to help in your garden too in exchange.

Thanks!

Hi Lou, Oregon or Maine?  Just thought I'd ask for clarification as there are a lot of Permies in both places.  Good luck!
