The only way I have ever seen that idea work was when a group of guys got together and formed a legal co-op for equipment sharing.
It lasted about 20 years before the founders were retired and their kids killed the co-op.
I personally would like to have just the equipment needed, rather bare bones by most farmer standards.
1 tractor, one yeoman plow, one box blade, those two attachments would do 90% of what I need to get done.
The only other attachment would be a pto driven auger for post holes.
