Since finding out about permaculture

Since finding out about permaculture I cannot help but feel absolutely overwhelmed and amazed every time I see a forest now.  I mean I always thought the forest and trees were beautiful, but now it is so complex, diverse, and teaming with interactions and life that I cannot help myself but to feel a sense of awe, and amazement.  Maybe even a little teary eyed<oops guys don't say stuff like that>. 

What is your reaction now when you see a forest?  How have your perceptions changed?

I now see stuff to do everywhere.After studying idigenous management of the landscape I want manage every landscape I see.Wish I had the awe I had when I was young and ignorant.

well I have always gardened this way, but I always have been a super tree hugger..tree lover.

having lost so much of my food forest gardens in 2002 and 2006 when we had our housefire and when my son's house was built..we actually did cry over the loss of so many trees and shrubs though and having to start over.

we did try to move some, but only one lived..they were just too large..

so we are getting through the starting over phase of regrowing our gardens, and starting to see things begin to take shape again..

it tears your heart out to lose acres of trees you spent years tending for sure..
