"We don't need bigger cars or fancier clothes. We need self-respect, identity, community, love, variety, beauty, challenge and a purpose in living that is greater than material accumulation." Donella Meadows

The Wild Cooperative is a new rural community in Crawford, Colorado (near Paonia) and we're open to new members. We are eager to create a small unit of the new functioning society. We would love for you to join us. We are in a process of finalizing our legal documents so check our blog in the near future.

Hi, my name is Cynthia and I wrote you last week. We were wondering if the position was still open? It's for the one in Paoina.

I am interested in joining a permie community and Colorado might work for me.  I am currently in West Texas.  I am 66 year old woman, but I am in good health and have experience gardening.  I am not a freeloader!

Could you send me more about your community and requirements to join?  My email is barbann3@gmail.com

Thanks! Barbara
