Read a little blurb in Acres Magazine that the EPA has a map-based program on the website www.toxicrisk.com that lets you look into facilities listed on the Toxic Release Inventory. You can see how many schools are within one mile (ouch) and 5 miles of the facility, as well as learn about the history of the facility. You can also research the chemicals involved.
