There was another story a year or so ago in the same area about a commercial greenhouse that was taxed on solar collectors used to add heat to their greenhouses.
Has anybody here been taxed exhorbitantly on solar devices on a homestead?
I believe one way around this, in Michigan, might be to mount the solar collectors on a trailer instead of in the ground. This would allow the added benefits of adjusting the position seasonally or daily to get the best angles for collection as well as portability if you want to move to a different property.
