Does anyone have any experience with importing durable goods from Russia, China, India etc?

For an example NIFE batteries from China?

The cost difference is beyond remarkable, I assume tariffs will even the scales?

I don't know if your in the right forum for this question but you need to go through a broker type company that can hand handle the port logistics and duty fees. Just google for one. Do you live near the port? There are ways to do it all your self if you can be there. Do you need door to door service? It is possible but there will be added expenses.

Have you looked at alibaba.com?

I had heard that a lot of amazon stuff is bought there. Like 10 companies all buying the same flashlight in bulk and marketing them as their own brands.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
