What kind of bug/slug is this? (glow worm)

I came across this bug last night and haven’t ever seen these around before and there were probably 20 or so scattered around. I tried searching a little and found nothing.

You might want to double check if your glow worm matches as well as I think.  If so, these people have identified it as a larval glow worm. If it develops eyes, it's a girl.  The boys continue development all the way to beetle form.

I don't see it mentioned there, but these are extremely sensative to environmental pollution.  Finding them on your property is a great sign.
