Hi David, I have a question about your book, does it help you push the zone from hotter to colder? I live in southern Arizona and would like to grow fruit trees that need more cold hours to set fruit than we get here. I appreciate any help you can give me, thanks!

No, it won't help there. Only warmer to colder. It's generally been understood that you need the chill hours; however, there are some interesting things happening in the world of apples which makes me wonder which other species can be pushed south.
