Looks good, you have the basic idea.  I would make the feed tube deeper to 16" and the riser taller to + 48" leave the burn tunnel the same as it is. If that is an 8" than you want 7.5" square feed tube/tunnel/riser. Sealing the outside with mud /clay will make your dragon mock up roar better.

Will using 6 inch pipe cause draft issues?

Depends, on the system, but generally it can be an issue.
It has been done,  with a long rise of 8" and a short neck down to 6" as a roof pass thru. Others have connected an 8" system into a 6" interior tall (warm) brick chimney... BUT  do not assume it will work in your setup. Strictly trial and error.
As a first build you might want to start with a 6".

If you can, laying the 4 bricks on top of the burn tunnel flat, and use jst two, that would reduce the mass a bit. And adding a "P channel" would be a good idea too.

What is the benefit of reducing the mass at the burn tunnel?

I believe it gets up to temperature quicker with less mass.

Hey Jeremy;
The design you followed for your mock build is the original way of building. Many rmh's are built that way , including mine. With the proper dimensions it will work as you have it.
Current designs are using ceramic fiber board and ceramic fiber blanket as a core and riser.
By reducing mass at the core, full rmh temperatures are reached very quickly , this allows for the 98% efficiency / combustion  to begin sooner than it will if you have to heat your core/riser firebricks.

Thanks Thomas. I was figuring it had something to do with efficiency. Why do people insulate the riser then if they want it to heat up fast? Does that have to do with temperature gradient between the heat riser and barrel?

The riser is insulated to keep the combustion temperature inside the riser at the max possible. Also, yes  you want the outer barrel to remain cooler to continue the flow of hot air from the riser to your storage area (mass).
