I have seen a few places that suggest covert garbage disposal directed to
compost using the side vent, but couldn't find anyone in Tampa Florida to help with the process. I contacted Insinkerator and made friends with an 'environmental engineer' who finally admitted that yes they thought of that, on a large scale utilizing the huge mounts of vegetative waste sent to landfill by restaurants, living facilities, grocery stores, and homes, including the massive grass clippings and tree trimmings. The problem was that once a
city or county had invested in their cogeneration plants, it didn't make sense to change. They needed to
feed the beast, even though there were losses of efficiency and they end up flaring their gas. Then they Permit a pipeline of fracked gas to come through the state en route to ports to supply other countries with natural gas, in the process, taking homesteads through eminent domain for the 'common good'.
Can anyone explain this? Is change possible? Desirable, or
should we get out of Florida before
