I wish there was a singles group for permie/farmer foodies who love old country music but play jazz!  I know it sounds picky, but as one whose identity is very much being a chef, farmer and musician, I can't tell you how disheartening it is to hear, "I don't eat weird food... that (not having tasted it) is gross! I hate country music.. I hate jazz.... why don't you have a real job?, etc"  When you've spent 25 years studying and practicing your music it is part of you.  When your passion is to cook and eat new (to you) interesting food... and, when you love the land and being self employed.... common sentiments like that aren't just a matter of taste.... they are a rejection of who you are.

BTW, I am kidding about needing such a specific forum.... just venting really, with a bit of humor.

Too bad your mama let you grow up to be a cowboy.  Then you wouldn't have this problem.... ;)

Seriously though, your asks don't seem like too much, IMO.
