I love being barefoot. It's the only way to be as far as am concerned, but as soon as the warmer season kicks in and I go barefoot, my feet become horribly cracked. I have athletes foot in one foot and its this foot that suffers the worst. It then becomes unbearable to walk on for a while. So I am wondering, for those of us who love barefoot but who need a little protection from spiky things, is there a gardening SOCK that is available, that has a bit of protection underneath - maybe slightly water resistant too? Am googling but can't find anything as am perhaps using wrong search terms.
