Have you heard of Ryan Drum?
http://www.ryandrum.com/index.htm#articles I just discovered his site on herbal medicine and
native plants and I'm very impressed. Looking at his university credentials and 'backwoods cred,' I'm even more impressed.
I would not mimic his more extreme treatment anecdotes at my
experience level, but would like to learn and share general knowledge information from his articles and recipes.
I'd a second opinion from more experienced herbal medicine practitioners, as I'm inclined to take the guy seriously. Before I read all his articles and start quoting him, I would like to be warned if he's outside the bounds of reason for a seasoned practitioner.
If responders could help me out by describing your approximate experience level, or giving anecdotes that explain why you agree or disagree based on your own experiences, that would be really great. I'm mostly an armchair herbalist myself, so I don't need help comparing basic literature so much as a second opinion from more experienced herbalists.
Thanks,
Erica W
