I would love to work live and earn a lil bit of cash in the Hawaiian Islands this season. (January ~ May 2019)
I spent 4 months in 2018 on the Big I working on organic fruit farms and permaculture.
And the past two years I have spent seasonally working on different lands and communities in the US.
Learning about tree care taking: grafting, tree cuttings, pruning..
Learning about beekeeping ( lots of studying and working with a hive in Oregon)
Learning about mushroom cultivation (lots of reading and talking with mushroom experts)
Learning about water catchment/treatment/irrigation (creating and using water catchment for home use and garden use)
Learning about natural building/solar systems (building stove and homes with cob)
Learning about Medicinal plants and how to create medicinal oils and sprays (crafting medicinal hydrosols, teas, and salves for sale at the market)
Learning about aquaponics (Helped to dig and layer the pool before filling up)
Ideally I am looking to apply my experiences in the avenues above and learn new ways too.
I am open to any of the Islands as long as there will be some paid work opportunities.
Thank you!
