As one of the fish with scars, I loved the lyrics! The world isn't kind to those who don't fit in the mold people expect us to fit in. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing it :)

There's a book I like "A Peacock in the Land of Penguins" by BJ Gallagher  
A Peacock in the Land of Penguins
It's about how those of us who are peacocks can figure out how to find a niche for ourselves in workplaces full of penguins. It's kind of The Ugly Duckling goes corporate. I keep it to remind myself not to try to fit in but to excel at being me, and that's SO much cooler than penguinness!! There's a place in theworld for the penguins, but there's also a place for the peacocks :)

On the wall by my desk here, I have one of my favorite pictures: Diana, by Josephine Wall. In a world of penguins, this is how I see myself.
