I have decided to try to make an attempt. It's my Indiegogo. It seems to be super successful for the owners (forgive me if I've missed a ban on trying my own...)
Been doing what I can with what I have (as have we all) and my mountain is sad without me - I'm also sad without my mountain. No sob story, just... my neighborhood is getting worse every year, and my 243ft shoebox house is getting smaller as I get more tools. Like many of us - I just need the heck out of the city, it drains me soul I tell ya!
Anywho - trying to raise enough to push some dirt around, and turn my dead-fall into fuel. It's all in the video and I hope nobody is offended or annoyed at me.
Grad-school is rough on a man who wants to farm... but folk tend to ignore me without some alphabet soup after my name, that and I said I'd get some advanced degree (20 years in the trades certainly didn't get me out of the city!) finish my MA this time next year - REALLY hoping to be moving in to my shop-appartment at that point.
Any love you can show - seriously, doesn't have to be cash, even encouragement it valuable to me (more than I can say). Added bonus - you'll get to see the whole process!
