Hi all,
We are super happy to announce that we just launched a Crowdfunding campaign to help fund our latest film, Fermentation Revolution.

Fermentation Revolution is an educational documentary in which food entrepreneurs, authors and all-around fermentation geeks David Coté and Sébastien Bureau share with you the ins and outs of traditional fermentation processes with a modern twist.

Homemade fermentation is a low-cost probiotic panacea ! It prolongs the life of your food, revives the immune system, soothes the digestive and nervous systems, regulates metabolism, wakes up your taste buds and brighten all meals! There are only advantages to fermenting, grab your jars, the hour of the probiotic revolution has come with Fermentation Revolution !

Over 90 minutes of beautiful HD footage with a humorous tone to it, the movie takes you through some theory and teaches you a variety of tools, techniques and recipes including :

  • Sauerkraut and lactofermentation
  • Kimchi
  • Kombucha
  • Water and Milk Kefir
  • Tempeh
  • Yogurt
  • Vegan and non-Vegan cheese

The Market Gardener’s Toolkit is an educational documentary in which small-scale organic farmer, educator
and author Jean-Martin Fortier shares the tools and techniques used on his highly productive 1.5-acre farm.

From soil preparation to strategies on dealing with insect pests, discover how this micro-farm manages to generate
$150,000 CAD in sales annually – without the use of a tractor or any heavy machinery.

Filmed over an entire growing season in Quebec’s beautiful Eastern Townships, The Market Gardener’s Toolkit
offers an unprecedented insight into the daily operations of the farm, from seeding to transplanting,
    from weeding to harvesting.

Over 90 minutes of beautiful HD footage, Fortier takes you through the following subjects and demonstrates a variety
    of tools and techniques
    :

    - - - - - - - - > Greenhouse and nursery
    - - - - - - - - > The permanent bed system
    - - - - - - - - > Standardization for efficiency
    - - - - - - - - > Bed preparation with the minimal tillage approach
    - - - - - - - - > Compost, fertilization and crop rotation
    - - - - - - - - > Green manures
    - - - - - - - - > The bio-intensive system
    - - - - - - - - > Transplantation
    - - - - - - - - > Direct seeding / Seeders
    - - - - - - - - > Irrigation
    - - - - - - - - > Weeding / Flame weeding
    - - - - - - - - > Plastic and organic mulches
    - - - - - - - - > Insect control
    - - - - - - - - > Harvesting

No matter the scale of your project, whether a small urban farm or a full-scale commercial market garden, this film will
offer valuable information and help make your operation more efficient and profitable. The emphasis is put on low-tech,
    high-efficiency tools and techniques
, with an aim to produce more with less work and less capital investment.

The film is being produced in two versions, English and French, so we filmed everything twice, and the editing also
    requires almost double the work

We're currently shooting for a mid-May release date, but we're working hard to finish the film as soon as possible.
The final product will be available in digital download format (720p and 1080p versions) and on DVD.

Our rewards for this campaign also include reproduction prints from Québec artist Eric Chouteau (sanscravate.ca),
who's working on illustrations to spice up the film. Here's one of the illustrations he's working on:

Whether or not you become a backer, share the campaign with
your network and contribute to develop human scale agriculture
    Thanks for the help !

The project is now live. Shipping has started, we are still experiencing some delays with EU customs, but it shouldn't be long before we can ship everywhere.

Meanwhile, the team at Possible Media is already working on a new exciting project.

Here is a little sneak peek.

And here a brand new thread about it on Permies : The Market Gardener's Toolkit
We are glad to announce that Possible Media is working on a new project this year.

For those curious of what the DVD sets will look like, here is a preview from Olivier's computer.

Will Holland wrote:I can't wait for my dvds to arrive. I tried to stream one of the first parts last night (16 minutes) and it took me over 35 minutes with it freezing and re-buffering because we can only get lousy Internet service here.

Try deactivating the HD streaming, will help you still get access to the content with your slow internet. Will take few more days for the DVD sets to ship, but we are getting really close !

    Mike Haych wrote:

I purchased streaming access, ie, not a Kickstarter supporter. When will it be available?

We're working on it, pre-orders will be fulfilled in the coming days! Please also keep in mind Kickstarter backers who chose the DVD version still havent received their reward. They are our top priority.
That is right, our server suffered a power outage and is now back and running.

Streaming Kickstarter backers have started receiving their access information to watch the videos online! We're sending them in batches throughout the day! ‪

Streaming Pre-orders are coming along and soon we will be shipping the physical DVD sets. So keep checking our facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/permacultureskills as we are updating almost in real time !
